A new week, a new version of Portable Apps Updater: nothing too spectacular this time, just a few fixes:

I've also discovered a totally unexpected problem with ESET: After PAU downloads larger files (like VLC or even bigger), ESET deletes them without any notice. So there's nothing I can do about this stupid little problem... If you encounter it, you can avoid it by other temporarily disabling real-time protection or by downloading the updated version yourself from portableapps.com. (Sorry, folks!)

So, now that the notification area is here, I think I'll take a little break and a new and (more importantly) improved version of Portable Apps Updater will go live in November. Maybe with a tray menu, maybe with an option to select a default tab... Who knows? :)
