Well, folks, a new version of Portable Apps Updater (1.1a) is finally here and it has some major improvements, most of them were already on the to-do list:

1. a brand new interface (Tabbed interface) - thanks xlabu & GrahamG for reminding me how important this is
2. a checking schedule (Automatically check for portable apps updates)
3. an option to automatically select C/C&DL/C&R only for available portables (Select Don't check for portable apps that are not installed)
4. links that will help you stay up-to-date with the latest releases
5. and a few minor fixes, including one to the path saving procedure

I've also made a few minor changes to the website: As you can see, I've added an Awards & Reviews page (that lists articles mentioning my apps), plus links to my Twitter page and RSS feed that will make it a lot easier for all you PAU / Netcon / etc fans out there to stay up-to-date with the latest news.

So, thanks everybody for your appreciation and I'll be back in a day or two with version 1.2 of PAU. It will include a few improvements and it will leave only one item on my to-do list ;)

Sometime in the near future (in a week or two), I'll also release a small update for Text Cleanser that stores and displays the last custom string(s?).
