The last application on today's update "spree" list is Portable Software Updater. As you were probably already expecting, the main purpose of this build is to also update the software list. I've said "main" because there are a few, less important, reasons, on which I won't elaborate too much. Anyway, here are the news on this release...

It has been a long road, but version 2.0 of Portable Software Updater is finally here! This release has a lot of cool new features (not just a new name & icon :P) and covers most of the wishes me and its users wanted for a very long time. A year later after my first working version, I'm proud to see all items in the wishlist have been integrated. Anyway, version 2 has three major improvements and a few other smaller bug fixes. Details? Here it goes...

Yet another minor update for Portable Apps Updater is here. All those who were hoping for a check-from-the-tray-menu option... will have to wait a little while longer. I've been very busy lately (that was pretty obvious from the lack of new releases, I know), but I found a few minutes to bring PAU up-to-date with the latest news from John Haller.

As promised earlier this week, version 1.2 of Portable Apps Updater is here! If you're interested in finding out the news before downloading it, here you go:
1) Version 1.0 listed 49 apps, version 1.1 added 8 recently released freebies (NSIS, Dia, BonkEnc, Songbird etc), but version 1.2 adds no less than 18 new programs - the Games tab is finally here and I've also added the freeware software John published yesterday (Skype, Chrome, FreeCommander etc)
