It has been a long road, but version 2.0 of Portable Software Updater is finally here! This release has a lot of cool new features (not just a new name & icon :P) and covers most of the wishes me and its users wanted for a very long time. A year later after my first working version, I'm proud to see all items in the wishlist have been integrated. Anyway, version 2 has three major improvements and a few other smaller bug fixes. Details? Here it goes...

Yet another minor update for Portable Apps Updater is here. All those who were hoping for a check-from-the-tray-menu option... will have to wait a little while longer. I've been very busy lately (that was pretty obvious from the lack of new releases, I know), but I found a few minutes to bring PAU up-to-date with the latest news from John Haller.

A new week, a new version of Portable Apps Updater: nothing too spectacular this time, just a few fixes:
1) µTorrent added to the list of apps (see Internet tab, of course)
2) Added the Current action area, so you'll always know what PAU is checking or downloading
3) Fixed a few minor bugs related to the display of the remote version for some apps

As promised earlier this week, version 1.2 of Portable Apps Updater is here! If you're interested in finding out the news before downloading it, here you go:
1) Version 1.0 listed 49 apps, version 1.1 added 8 recently released freebies (NSIS, Dia, BonkEnc, Songbird etc), but version 1.2 adds no less than 18 new programs - the Games tab is finally here and I've also added the freeware software John published yesterday (Skype, Chrome, FreeCommander etc)

Well, folks, a new version of Portable Apps Updater (1.1a) is finally here and it has some major improvements, most of them were already on the to-do list:
- a brand new interface (Tabbed interface) - thanks xlabu & GrahamG for reminding me how important this is
- a checking schedule (Automatically check for portable apps updates)
- an option to automatically select C/C&DL/C&R only for available portables (Select Don't check for portable apps that are not installed)
- links that will help you stay up-to-date with the latest releases
- and a few minor fixes, including one to the path saving procedure
